The Wellcome Collection Title: BACTERIA
Strap: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly 
Synopsis: An exhibition about the importance and dangers of bacteria. 

 Climate change is melting permafrost soil that have been frozen for millions of years, and as the soil melt they are releasing ancient viruses and bacteria that, having lain dormant are springing back to life.  

       

 We designed and laid out all the textual information with the logo, address, date and title onto a translucent acrylic plastic tile lid for the top of the box. This would allow you to partially see the colours of the sweets (bacteria) show through. This plastic has a frosted glass appearance.

The idea was the invitation to be an experience, to actually invite the specific people to come to the exhibition, so using sweets  was a creative little gesture for the guests.This worked perfectly with our concept and poster designs, as the bright colourful sweets would represent the ancient, frozen bacteria with their many shapes.
